Web Design Trends For 2009

Smashing Magazine just released a list of the design trends for 2009. After looking everything over, I am encouraged that I am using most of these techniques/design elements in the current sites I'm working on. I really wish I could get clients to go for the "big typography" though. That one is a hard sell. Also, I might start using PNG transparency a little more. It can create some really great effects... it just doesn't work on older browsers. Blasted IE!
